Reviews C and C++ language contracts, beginning with header linkage and build-mode safety.

Checks

Review areaScans for
Header linkageRemoval of inline from changed C or C++ header definitions that can create externally linked definitions in more than one translation unit
Build-mode safetyMacros and language-version branches that make a declaration safe in some supported configurations but unsafe in others
One-definition ruleConcrete duplicate-definition, link, ABI, or visibility failures introduced by the change

Reporting boundary

A deterministic inventory item is only a candidate. The adversary reports it only after an independent verification pass finds repository evidence that:

  1. the changed definition is in a header-like file;
  2. at least one supported build configuration removes every remaining inline or internal-linkage guarantee;
  3. the definition is not protected by a template, class-body definition, static, constexpr, consteval, or an equivalent rule; and
  4. including the header from multiple translation units can produce a concrete ODR or linker failure.

Silence is preferred when the repository does not prove those conditions.
